Rock Arch House

For the Finish This House contest. I opted to put the structure under a natural rock arch the house is built against a cave feature essentially gaining an extra room, in which I have only placed a hot tub. I also bumped the stair landing outside the structure into a little indent in the rock. Within that indent is a waterfall and pool feature drained by a creek that passes under the structure to the lake behind the home. The creek and its bed are revealed through a series of three grates in the floor. I tried to incorporate the motif from the windows into various elements of the home and its furnishings. I hope you like it. I did borrow the waterfall texture from a model created by Tito Renarto and the log holders in the fireplaces are from a file by Peter Newberry. #finishthishouse
