I designed these to hold a Polycarbonate Sheet (Lexan) on a Robo3d Printer heated bed.
This stuff works awesome with no adhesives. I use only ABS and run the bed temp at 40c. You will get 100+ prints off of one $8 sheet.
They may fit other printers as well. The sheet size is I bought comes from Home Depot and is 11x14x.093; you have to cut one inch off one side of the Sheet to make it fit the Robo3d printer.
Print 4 of the large ones and two of the small ones.
The four large ones goes on each end of the build area (2 on each end)
The 2 small ones go midway on the build area on the sides. They are small enough to clear the bearing screws.
You could use all small ones if you had a 10x15 sheet cut (the actual size of the bed)
You will also want to edit your startup Gcode for a polycarbonate sheet to autolevel BEFORE you heat the nozzle. Otherwise the hot end will dig into the build plate.
Here is the code I use:
G28 ; home all axes
G1 Z5 F5000 ; lift Z by 5mm
M565 Z-1 ; set the offset for auto-leveling mechanism
G29 ; run auto-level
G1 Z5 F5000 ; lift Z by 5mm
M140 S[bed0_temperature] ; Set Bed Temperature
M190 S[bed0_temperature] ; Wait for Bed Temperature
M104 S[extruder0_temperature] T0 ; set extruder temperature .
M109 S[extruder0_temperature] T0 ; set extruder temperature and wait for temp
G92 E0 ; set extruder distance at zero
G92 E0 ; reset extruder distance to zero
