Peace Button?
Reminding many of a "peace sign," here is a little ditty you can use to get those LEDs in your drawer 'a sparking. --The world's simplest flashlight: Perfect Morse Code signal / survivalist light, with an RGB twist! (RED danger, BLUE cautionary, GREEN go? Operator identification? Covert color sequence for the day? )
Designed by an Eagle Scout to work with 1 - 3 independent LEDs, when working with a 4-pin RGB either a common anode, or cathode, can be used.
Decidedly low-polly, this design prints quickly.
Assembly
To insure button contact, be sure each wire points directly to the center of the coin cell.
When assembling, if light(s) remain on remove buttons, clean contact hole(s,) re-assemble, then press buttons HARD to "prime," or bend contact(s) into place.
Remove buttons to view / adjust wires if needed.
Notes
If your printer is running "stringy", then you could use a paper-clip wire to clear the holes, if and as required.
Be sure to trim-off + turn any excess wire(s) back into their hole.
Works with just about any size("DIP") LED. If your are looking for a source, then you can support your favorite national economy on ebay.
Legalese
Use at your own risk. Not to be used by folks who may be inclined to ingest it, or prick their fingers on LED pins. (i.e. Darwin was an optimist - Use your common sense?)
When using a common 3V CR2032 as the power source this thing works great and is completely safe to all mammalian life forms, even when wet.
