3D printable housing for a reef-pi power board for use with the reef-pi aquarium controller that is being designed by Ranjib on Reef2Reef.https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/reef-pi-an-opensource-reef-tank-controller-based-on-raspberry-pi.289256/
Designs consist of a main housing / brain and an 8 socket power board (main brain can be found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3659860). These parts have been designed to be printed on any printer with a build volume of more than 200mm x 200mm. F360 files are all included for people to change and remix as they require.
8 Socket Power Board
This is printed in 4 parts, the bottom two parts and the top two parts are each glued together or they can be "welded" together with a soldering iron or 3D printing pen (I found melting the join together from the inside with a soldering iron works quite well). The top and bottom can then be held together with M3 bolts. There is also an optional logo and text plate.
The power Board has mounting holes for:
an 8 channel relay (https://www.littlebirdelectronics.com.au/8-channels-5v-relay-module), and
a 240V AC to 5V DC buck converter (https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/AC-DC-5V-3A-Low-Ripple-EMI-Isolated-Step-down-Switch-Power-Module-Buck-Converter-/201597729719?hash=item2ef0293bb7)
There is also holes for mounting:
8x universal panel mounted AC sockets (https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/5x-Black-AU-EU-UK-US-AC-250V-13A-Socket-Panel-Mounted-Adapter-Universal-Plug-/252062129473?hash=item3ab012dd41)
an AC socket (https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/DC-022-Power-Outlet-Jack-Socket-Connector-5-5x2-1mm-3-in-1-Fuse-AC-250V-10A-/192184888076?var=&hash=item0)
a DC barrel jack (https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/10PCS-Metal-DC-Power-Supply-Socket-Panel-Mount-Female-Jack-Connector-5-5-x-2-1mm-/391642099894?hash=item5b2fb030b6), and
an RJ-45 keystone jack (https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/25pcs-180-Degree-Angle-RJ45-UTP-Keystone-Wall-Jack-Coupler-Adapter-Cat6-/282353800189?hash=item41bd9913fd)
This is still a work in progress, and I have not yet completed the final versions. The power board has been printed and wired up but not yet tested. A housing for a light controller & pH module will also be uploaded when it is designed.
