I designed this in Solidworks to mount an LED floodlight to my receiver to deal with my anemic Ford F-150 reverse lights. This was inspired by the work others have done on these. The locking tabs should fit firmly in place and still make for easy removal when towing. Parts Required:
LED Light (this is the one it was deigned for) https://amzn.to/355sCyw
Trailer Side 7-way connector https://amzn.to/2oasCg0
You can use the metal bracket with the (NO_BOSS) version of the STL and a 1/4" bolt and nylock nut. Alternatively you can print the version with the mounting boss on it and use the hardware supplied with the light to keep it in place.
NOTE: ignore the cut-off bosses in the picture - I offset a vector in the wrong direction the version that was used in the print. This later became the "NO_BOSS" version. The version with the bosses was updated with correct dimensions and does fit the light.
