Someone was asking about realistic metal on facebook. I don't normally use cycles so I started with Broadstu's metal herehttp://www.blendswap.com/blends/view/48688as a base, so thanks to that person. I've added a few texture nodes etc. to get this result. hdr is fromhttp://www.openfootage.net/. The textures I made myself. The painted version would of course be better with a dull rusted metal underneath but the node setup gives a good general idea.
