A pack of helicopter clamps for both transportation and storage. The goblin 500 is still what I would consider in experimental stages... it works on 2 of 3 goblin 500s that I tested. Same for the goblin 700.
The rest of the clamps range from 8mm to 10mm.
All synergy models and compass models use 8mm
Align uses 9mm and diabolo uses 10mm for its 700 machine.
You will need to order the following for McMaster Carr
91185A342-Plastic Head Thumb Screw
98001A120-Steel Tab Base Weld Nut
DOUBLE CLAMPS:
The double clamps allow you to transport 2 helis side by side while maintaining space efficiency. The end caps also allow you to gain trunk space by letting you go to the edge of the T Track.
Print these at 30-40% infill at 40-45 mms as to ensure proper fitting with cap. If you try and print fast you'll have a lot of sanding and prepping that you will need to do.
I experimented with tolerances on some models and left other models with full tight (mandatory sanding) tolerances. Any questions I'll try to answer as best as I can. I have printed 50-60 of these and they print well with no issues.
NOTE: Nitro and ABS don't mix so print these in PLA or Nylon. If all your helis are electric ABS is better and more flexible.
