This is my second RC Tank, on this version i wanted to focus on speed and all terrain capability.
This version was designed so that all the parts could be 3D printed. You will need to purchase some fasteners and bearings:
M3 x 40mm button head screws for the tracks
M3 x 12mm button head screws for the frame
M3 nylon locking nuts for tracks and frame
12 x 6000 size bearings
2 x 540 size motors (I use 55T)
ESC drives for the motors
1 or 2 batteries used for quadcopters and planes
M3 Push Fit Thread inserts (4mm OD, 5mm L)
the Axels and mounting pillars all need the threaded insert to work properly.
The tracks do fit nicely around the frame but i have not put them into the assembly as it was not needed (and difficult)
as for the electronics i have designed my own controller and motherboard.
Feel free to ask me about my board and if you want the designs and firmware, if not you can use your own controller and receiver. My board uses a HC-12 module capable of 1km rage. My device also has stall detection on each side and temperature monitoring on each of the motors and ESC. The PCB Panel Part has mounting pillars for the motherboard PCB
There are mounting holes for the communication antennas (Both FPV and Controller Antennas), there is also a toggle switch mounting hole.
Any Questions or find any missing parts just leave me a message / comment and i will try to reply!
