An extruder cable restraint made specifically for the ReliaBuild RB3 printers, RB2's, and upgraded Rigidbot RB1's with the RB2 electronics and cables.
This is a two part system comprising of the restraint and a locking clip. The pieces are installed around the cable by slipping a flattened section of the cable above the extruder through the slot and then slipping the piece down for snapping into place at the top of the extruder. The clip keeps the cable from working itself back through the slot when moving around and eliminates the need for a zip tie to be used.
This is a tight tolerance and snug fitting assembly. Use of thermally calibrated filament using these clips to calibrate it is highly recommended for best results.https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1037301
Note the assembly orientation of the extruder PCB and the restraint base. The side of the PCB with the stepper connection is towards the back side of the restraint. See the uploaded pictures for reference. If the PCB on your printer is flipped around then install the restraint accordingly.
