This is a fix for the belt squeal issue on the Y axis of an RB2.
Since the design has no belt tension-er it is hard to get the belts to line up on the pulleys such that they do not ride up and rub on the belt guards causing an annoying squeaking noise. One solution is to purchase a flanged bearing and cut out the belt guards. This solution is a 3D printable one.
The tapered part (with an M3 x 14mm bolt threaded part way in) is inserted into the square open area under the bearing on the front plate of base and while pinching the bearing post and the front panel with pliers tap it in till the belt rides on the center of the bearing.
Use thermally calibrated filament to get the best fit. The interlocking clip method works really well for calibration.https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:250267
