Hopscotch is an experimental novel written in 1963 by Julio Cortazar that can be read according to different sequences of chapters. In the book, Cortazar gives 2 possible paths but for all other combinations is up to the reader to define chapter order and to keep track of chapters read. Plans of a possible machine to read this novel - named Rayuelomatic - have been released 50 years ago and today that machine is a reality.
The writer and inventor Roni Bandini made the electronics and Ricardo Lerch made the custom 3d printed case. You can view a video of this machine in action at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CBzpd1o3SpI
