Mounting bracket for attaching a Raspberry Pi 3 to a Mediasonic 8 bay disk enclosure.
I've been using a Raspberry Pi 3 running Open Media Vault with one of my Mediasonic disk enclosures. This enclosure happens to be the 8 bay, ProRaid (H8R2-SU3S2). I wanted a way to mount the Pi to the enclosure, but place it in the airflow from the fans to also keep it cool.
This mount should also work on the non-RAID version of the enclosure.
The mount uses the original hardware that the fans use to attach them to the enclosure (there's just enough length on the screws), and it uses two button head screws for the Pi case. My Pi is in a VILROS case, but I suspect other cases could be used as well.
Using this mount allows the Pi to be neatly attached to the enclosure, keeps it cool, allows the use of a short USB 3 cable, and still provides access to all of the Pi's IO ports.
I printed this in PETG, but any filament should work.
