04 Apr 2017 - Update: I added new models to this thing:CameraMountBaseExtended: This is a longer and a bit taller base to move the camera away from the platform to enable use of fisheye lenses.CameraMountBaseForArm and CameraMountArm: These are for mounting other cameras to the bed.CameraFrontBottomWithLens: This is a modified camera front housing that has the ribbon cable exiting the bottom and it also has a larger hole that you can screw fisheye or wide angle lenses into. The specific set of lenses I am using are these: http://www.ebay.com/itm/311689076502 however I am sure most are the same screw diameter.
I looked for a decent mount for the Pi cam and found a few. But, none really did what I wanted so I mixed and made my own.
I used the knurled knob from http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:631919
I used the Camera mount and ball from http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:247590
I started with the bed mount from http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:703550 and reworked it for my needs.
I reworked the mount to fit the aluminum bed plate on my Taz 5, should fit a Taz 4 as well. This does not mount on the bed, but on the aluminum base plate. That will isolate it from the heat and shouldn't affect the bed leveling.
I took the knurled knob from the arm rig and made my own screw threads. The threads in the source were overly polygon heavy.
The screw is not totally needed, the mount should fit pretty snug but I added it as extra insurance if the bed gets to moving quickly so it won't shake the camera off.
I would suggest NOT sanding or finishing the ball. You want that friction to hold the camera aim point.
