Raindrop Bird House with Wind Sail by ICanMakingThings

I had to modify Scintilla's Birdhouse because I live in the Pacific Northwest. It can get a little blustery, and you may have heard that it has been known to rain from time to time. This design has a small awning over the door to protect from falling rain, and the perch and awning have a 'sail' on them which turns the door of the house away from the wind and rain if there is driving rain. It also has some drain holes in the bottom. I made it black to give a little more thermal storage for the early spring, and placed it up under a branch that will have leaves on it by the early summer for shade so the black doesn't overheat my tenants.
I also hit it with a coat of black "Flex Seal" to make doubly sure of the comfort of my guests.
