Race of Modelers, Round 2, Part 2

I was sitting in a grass strip along side of a deserted country road in my 1973 Amc Javelin, waiting on a kid by the name of Charged Bison to get his 'fast' truck and meet me for a race. We had met at a gas station ealier in the day. Before too long, a red and black Duramax idled up, an started reving his engine. I figured it was him, so i rolled out from under my tree, and pulled up next to him. We wound both of our vehicles to the redline. 'bison nodded at me from behind the tinted glass. I popped the clutch on my bored-out 454 cube chevy, pulling the front wheels into the air. The Duramax took an early lead, as benefits the huge amout of torque from his diesel. I was still behind at half track, but gaining, as his diesel hit the rev limiter and i hit the juice. I would have had him, if a car hadn't pulled out 200ft ahead... The only thing i had time to do was yank the wheel hard left. I hit the dirt at nearly 100mph, jumping the ditch and going into a spin. When the Javelin stopped I was pointed opposite the direction i started in the middle of a hay field. the Javelin was dirty, but otherwise unscathed. Charged Bison slid past the oncoming car half in the ditch, and tore off down the road before the police were called.
