Qubizzle puzzle

Update: Added a separate render of the Cubizzle and a section view.
Quick last minute entry here guys. I had an idea for a 3D maze that could be cut easily using CNC routing or, to better effect, laser.
It's a simple ball-run style maze but over many layers to create the block shape. It would use a small 10mm ball-bearing or marble as the target, but the model could be scaled to use the more common 12mm marble size. Visibility of the target ball would be helped by using a transparent perspex like material but I think it would still work in plywood as all the layers are separated by a few mm and there is a grid of viewing holes to watch the balls progress.
I then had the thought of adding some weight to the design so kids and adults could get a bit of a work-out while manipulating the cube. I think it would make exercise a bit more mentally stimulating, although, please watch the TV's etc. when tossing the thing in frustration ;).
I've gone with a few renderings of the Genius-Bell with a 12mm steel plate welded frame with the removable/replaceable/upgradeable perspex puzzle cube inserted. There is a screw hole on one side to fix the cube in place.
Any thoughts or suggestions are always appreciated. Another great Solidsmack design challenge, thoroughly enjoyed last years too.
