Update: 22/12/17 version 2 released, slightly longer core and symetric wheel hubs.
This is my Quad Rover base. It's designed as a platform for a robotic rover to utilise 25mm Gear motors
It can be either remote controlled or fitted with a raspberry pi for remote wifi or autonomous working.
Also provided is a drill guide to drill out the pipe.
The motor tubes are constructed using PVC drainpipe , but if you have the inclination you could print these out as well.
You need to print 4 of the bumpers , which allow the bolts to mount and clamp against the tubing.
4mm bolts are used to connect the front and back to the central core and RC 1/10 wheels are used with 12mm hex adaptors for the motors.
A complete rolling chassis with motors, wheels and mounting bolts only costs about about £50.
for the RC version 2x RC ESC , mixer and battery should only cost about another £20 and then its just the cost of a RC and TX
for the Pi Version a quad motor shield to use is the motozero that only costs £10 on top of a pi Zero Wifi along with a suitable battery and/or a voltage reg for about £3
