This is a mounting bracket I printed off for my QAV400. The bottom plate has 2 sets of 4 holes which I think were originally intended for mounting landing gear, but otherwise go unused.
You'll need 4 - M4 nuts and screws. I purposely made the nut hole a little undersized because the nuts get melted in place to lock them in permanently. Use a soldering iron to heat the nut and press into place.
This mounting bracket was part of a series of modifications to relocate the UHF transmitter as far away from the other RF emitting sources. Scanning with a spectrum analyzer showed slightly better noise levels below the rig than above the rig which is what led to this being located where it is.
I've attached the SKP file in case you need to make any changes to it.
One other note - it's hard to make out in the photo but I soldered in a 300ma 5v step down regulator from Pololu into the power distribution board and routed the wires right to the bracket so you can power the receiver from a separate power source.
Quite a few folks have reported dropouts and motor cutoffs so the current recommendation is to power the UHF receiver separately from the CC3D. If that's not possible, power the receiver directly from a 5v source, then connect a set of jumper cables from the receiver to the power pins of the CC3D, not the other way around.
