UPDATE : Includes version 2 (ver 2 in the filenames). Differences are as follows :
0.5mm shorter gap for the cable to snap in to. I had my cable pop out once following modification to my frame which extended my Z axis distance from 107mm to 207mm. I can print tall again!
Increased diameter of top most cylinder by 1mm to increase it's stength.
Widened base piece which sits directly on top of the frame. (Not side pieces.)
Made slightly longer, overall.
If Ver1 is working for you, there's no reason to update to ver 2, I just needed it to better work the cable management for the larger print area.
I have my extruder cable bundled in PET cable for cleanliness (sort of) but there's 14 wires inside it's protecting. I noticed the stands were becoming damaged by the cable sliding up and down the corner of the alluminum frame, so I designed this piece. It has rounded corners on each side the cable can be exposed to. I printed black hatchbox PLA and 215, 0.1mm layers, 20% infill. Glued in place with some brown original gorilla glue. (Seems to work better on the alluminum block than does hot glue.)
Print with minimal supports, but they are required. Designed in 123D, file included in the ZIP.
The diameter between the bracket mounts is 7mm.
