Tired of not seeing your beautiful i3 print?
Don't sit around, slap an IKEA Dioder strip on your Prusa!
Choose between the single, dual or triple mount.
Print 2 of the chosen mounts and your Dioder strip will sit nicely behind the vertical frame and has enough clearance with your Spool holder and filament guide.
I soldered the wires of the Dioder to an unused output of the 12V power supply. This way they will power on and off together with the printer, but are semi-independent. Solder the R, G, and B wires together and screw into to the -12V terminal. Screw the +12V (W) wire from the LED strip to the +12V terminal.
The 003 models all point toward the center of the build plate location. The 004 SpreadLight version spreads the light distribution over the entire build plate.
