I designed this LCD knob for the Prusa MK2/S to allow quicker navigation of the LCD menu.
This model consists of 2 parts, the body and the knob. There is also a bearing in between the 2 which is what allows the faster rotations (bearing size below). This design allows you to keep your thumb on the knob at all times so you can rotate and press at the same time. It is more sensitive than using the original knob which has a long arm but after a few navigations this works much more quickly.
Here is a video of the knob in action - https://youtu.be/aLJrUgsnZAo
The bearing I used was a small RC car bearing with an outer diameter of 10mm, an inner diameter of 5mm and a thickness of 4mm.
Depending on your printer you may have to scale up/down by small amounts to allow for the tolerance of the bearing fitting, or if it is slightly loose you could use glue to hold it in place.
Sorry about the poorly printed parts, this was the prototype :)
