tl;dr You will need to print 1 spinner body and 2 of either no_spacer_end_cap.stl, push_end_cap.stl, or spacer_end_cap.stl.
The file not_good_caps.stl is just a center bearing thumb cap, which is not bad for the short models and better_center_bearing_thumb_cap.stl would be better for the not short models.
Here are the ProtoSpinners. This is the first thing I have ever built using 3D CAD software.
So please be gentle with me...
The idea was that not all people have hands large enough to make use of the end bearing on other 3 bearing models. So, I wanted to give them to have more of a reason than just weight. On the ProtoSpinners your thumb has access to the end of the bearings and you can roll it with your thumb or on the table or your pants. Just thought it may be cool and wanted to see if I could make it work.
The first one I made was the V1.11. Then I wanted to see if people would like a shorter center bearing body version of the V1.11, thus the ProtoShort was born.
Last but not least, the ProtoFreak is just that, a freak. When I was trying to fix an uneven area at center of the spinner body, I deleted a plane and the weird blade shape just happened... so, I kept it.
Oh, and don't worry about my name being on there. You can barely see it when it is printed and the bearing covers it... I just couldn't help myself.
If anyone has ideas on ways to make it better please let me know.
And if anyone wants, I can upload the files without the supports if you think that your slicers can do better.
