I installed my LCD projector on a shelf permanently and wanted to make sure it wouldn't fall. I made this little thing that allows me to tie the projector to the shelf.
The mechanism enables small adjustments of the relative position between the screw that ties the feet to the shelf and the screw that holds the foot to the projector. This is not meant to deliver much force, don't hang your projector from the ceiling using these feet! This is just to keep the projector from moving sideways.
The screw between the projector and the feet is M4 size (I think this is a standard) and the screw for the shelf is M4 or M4.5 as well.
The mechanism was designed using Solvespace an STL with all parts arranged for printing is given together with the source files in slvs for customization.
I printed this using an Ultimaker 2 Extended +, which gives an outstanding quality with very tight tolerances. If I was to print this on a old 3d printer, I would adjust the tolerances slightly before printing.
