I updated my Printrbot Simple Metal with Bigtreetech's SKR Mini E3 1.2 board. This was the adapter plate I made to mount the SKR board to the underside of the Printrbot. It also has a place for an optocoupler so that the original inductive probe can be utilized.
The small holes for attaching the SKR to the plate were designed for #4 x 3/8 sheet metal screws.
There's not a lot of room under there, so I also purchased a microSD to SD card extension cable on Amazon for seven dollars. I don't print from the SD card, but it was handy when I was making firmware updates.
Also, there are five holes on the SKR 1.2 board, but I only utilized four of these because of overlap with one of the Printrbot's four holes.
