Printed Spool for Nylon/trimmer line. Oven Safe by Possert

Print this out of trimmer line. Nylon is absobent so needs dried before printing load it with a 300' roll of trimmer line and put it in a 220f oven for a few hours and print. You know when its ready it gets stiffer and changes color a little like spaghetti drying.
I have very good luck with Super Trim by Desert Extrusions. I get it at Kmart for $8 for 300'
The spool is identical halves so only 1 file for both. I made the shafts on the spool halves long so when they are half as wide as desired kill the print.
The coupling slides over the shaft and makes a decent friction fit.
I recommend printing this on garolite or a nylon pad.
I use the pads on a cold bed.
I make a thin pad in CAD with slightly rounded corners, then print the first layer of it on glass and hair spray. I use a concentric fill. Its better if it spirals out from the center. Kill the print at the end of the first layer. Peel it off and wash and dry the glass thoroughly then wipe with Acetone. Then use contact adhesive to glue the pad to a piece of glass. Let the adhesive go all the way out to the edges and the pad will have to be slightly smaller than your bed size.
The parts will pop off after printing but if it does tear up peel the pad off and use acetone to clean the adhesive off the glass.
Like always no license on this thing regardless of what it says to the right.
