03/17/17- UPDATE Added new V2 files (cleaned-up the models a bit to print faster/better)
I tried to make the original (a very creepy-cool model) a little more realistic and easier to print (new top shell and bendy legs). I also added a head and a butt. I replaced the original snap-fitting with parts from this print-in-place tentacle: http://www.thingiverse.com/search?q=tapered+tentacle&sa= I had to beef up the sockets on the snaps to handle being printed at a smaller scale, I thing it worked well. Also thanks to http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:182096 for inspiration.
This is my first time using meshmixer, I added the OBJ file if anyone wants to clean-up the model or make it more detailed- go for it! I would love to see how many different colors and lengths people come up with- post pictures please! (I will try to add all of the files needed for multi-color printing, but may not be correct as I only use a single head printer)
I read that adult centipedes can have anywhere from 17 to 115 pairs of legs- happy printing! https://youtu.be/exQsxobCp6s
