that's one of the 4 Presidential Towers in Chigago,Illinois......... Built in 1986 and designed by Solomon Cordwell Buenz & Assocites to hasten the redevelopment of skid row. The huge complex includes a number of restaurants, a bar and grocery store along with parking and a large health club contained within the two-story base which is topped by four towers each containiing 47 floors of rental apartments. When the complex was built, the area surrounding it was still a bit seedy. That, combined with the huge number of units, led to high vacancy rates and eventually the largest default of a HUD-backed mortgage in US history.
