This is an experimental bearing design for use with cylindrical rods. The Solidworks 2013 file is parametric design. I haven't printed this yet, but the expected behavior is to allow the bearing to have as little play as possible for light loads, high speed, and dampening.
1) Extract the ZIP file into a folder.
2) Open the equations.txt file and change ID, length, and supports dimensions to your liking.
NOTE: you should set you shaft diameter dimension to something slightly smaller than the actual shaft diameter.
3) save and close the txt file.
4) open the Solidworks part file to allow Solidworks to update the model.
5) Save as an STL file and print out of Delrin, PLA, or ABS.
If you get an error about missing equation file, just click on browse and navigate to the folder where you saved the equations file.
