Precision level 14x100mm

Level of precision / engineer based on a glass HACCURY (4 '' / 2mm precision) bought on Aliexpress (10 €).


Needed to achieve the geometry and placement of the guide rails of a digital milling machine, for 10 times cheaper if placed on a precision ruler.





The small axial level is a classic 29x10x10 (1 €).





It is necessary to cut and then drill / assemble two flexible tabs (can cover or strip for example) to achieve the upper and lower leaf springs.





Three micro screws for the slats, one M3x10mm for adjustment.





The adjustment is made using the screw, so that the bubble is in the same place by turning the level 180 °. A bracket fixed on a worktop is used to reposition the level at the same location during the turnaround.





Two 6x1.5mm neodymium magnets can be glued underneath, in order to set the level to a square or precision ruler.





Lateral stops may require light sanding depending on your print settings so as not to interfere with glass movement.
