We have several portion pro pet feeders. They're really great feeders especially so for us because we have a diabetic cat that is on a strict diet. The only drawback is that the collars use batteries that only last about 6 months. The tags are sealed and require destructive measures to open and install a new battery. You can buy a replacement tag from the manufacturer for about $30 ish dollars after tax and shipping. I designed a replacement tag holder that you can print for free. Keep in mind that you will need to buy a replacement battery (CR2032) for a few dollars. The original tags appear to be somewhat waterproof. My design is not waterproof so keep that in mind.
