Simple 3 part leg set for increasing the stability of the Portabee-kit 3d printer. The standard printer has issues with possibly falling over when printing at height due to its "take-apart" design. Since i'm not trying to keep this portable and able to be stuffed into a laptop bag i'm adding these legs to help brace it.
Print 2 legs and 1 glue plate per side. This slides over the 6mm threaded rods inbetween the base and the Y-carraige mounting.
I tried the wide-base file on here, but that one raised the center of gravity even though it did widen the footprint. I looked at the piece that attached to the Y-carriage but decided i still needed the easy ability to remove that section at will.
4 extra 6mm nuts per set of legs will be required in addition to these files to install the legs as well as some filing to the bottoms to get everything sitting level.
I used a piece of smooth 6mm rod while gluing to ensure the holes lined up between the glue plate and the leg sections.
It is in 3 pieces due to the size restriction of the portabee build plate.
