We released our first set of Pocket-Tactics here on Thingiverse over eight years ago. Since then the game has gone through multiple editions and derivatives, and after all that time refining the rules and playing with new dynamics we're happy to announce that we're bringing the ultimate version to Kickstarter!
This is a meeple-based version of the game we're kickstarting, and is close (rules-wise) to the first game we released back in 2012 (with a few tweaks we've picked up and assimilated over the years). This version wipes the slate in regard to previous editions (1-5), all of which are still available here on Thingiverse (and fully playable as they are).
Pocket-Tactics is a fast paced, modular strategy boardgame in which fantasy forces battle for control of a randomly generated hex map. The full version will include 15mm scale miniatures and 3d terrain tiles. We also have a (traditional) print-and-play version which is available through the Kickstarter, and you can get access to a version of that in the Steam Workshops for Tabletop Simulator now!
