A simple clamp with an maximum opening angle of approximately 27°and an maximum opening width of round about 14,5 mm.

Two equal plastic parts and a sheet metal spring are needed only,
for the function of this type of clamps.

A special bended sheet metal spring allows a big range of the opening width, without relaxation of the clamping force over the life time.
But a correct calculation of the sheet metal clamp is necessary.
May be by a (FEM-analysis).

The compact design is useable for many different applications.

I use this type of clamp very often for fixation of components to glue, during the hardening process (for example: technical model-making).

Thinkable too is to clamp a lot of paper sheets together, up to a stack thickness of the maximum clamping width.

I'm sure, that you will find other practical applications for this classical clamp.
