The food shortage is one of the biggest problems in areas of great poverty,it is for this reason that the little food they have should be protected very well from elements such as moisture or insects.

The problem comes when you don´t have lunch boxes, plastic wrap or aluminum foil with which to save or cover them properly.

Hence arises the concept shown, a cap that turns any bottle into a tupperware to store food, and although at first it was thought only to reuse plastic bottles can also be used for soda cans.

And even though every bottle is different, one of the advantages of 3D printing is that each model may be unique in contrast with other processes such as the plastic injection, thus it should only scaling the model to adapt to the diameter required.

In addition, as an idea occurs to me that you could create a product-service system (PSS) in which inhabitants carry a certain number of bottles(the leftover parts to be exact) to authorized areas for that purpose, receiving in exchange new caps with which to create more Tupperware.

As can be seen, the benefit is huge;
- The reuse of plastic waste is promoted, giving them a second life
before throwing or recycling them
- The remaining parts are not thrown, they are recycled
- Most importantly, people without resources can preserve their food properly.
In small bottles like soda cans, with the right accessories, you can save spices or dried herbs; intermediate sized bottles can be great for storing flour; and the large ones perfect for rice or beans.
