This is a microphone jack for a general aviation headset. The socket is designed for use with a jumbo paperclip (1mm diameter). This design has only common and mic. I did not include a location for a PTT connector, but it would be easy for anyone to modify the file to include that.
This was created in order to connect a headset to an FT-897D radio. The circuit here worked quite well: http://www.dj2um.com/2012/04/15/aviation-headset-interface-ft897/
Assembly requires glue (preferably something strong like epoxy), a single jumbo paperclip, 2 wires, a wire cutter capable of cutting the paperclip, a soldering iron, solder, and a pair of small pliers. A drill bit will probably be required unless your printer makes perfect holes.
