If you build models that require pin striping or need to stripe something else you can customize the width of the stripe. This can be remade to fit the size of the master stripe. Slide the master through with the sticky side up. AFTER THE TAPE IS FULLY SEATED Position the blade (# 11 x-acto) at the width needed. Make certain the blade tip is through the tape and stuck into the inside bottom part of the cutter. Be sure the tape is seated with the pulling end having enough to grab onto. Make sure cutting edge is facing the intake side. Pull the stripe and it will come out resized. This can be remade for different widths or thicknesses of tape. It can also be used for ribbons. Helpful hint: if you use a carrier made from stiff material (business card would work) it would thread this device much easier. You can hold the cutter or secure it as shown. Picture shows 1/4 inch stripe being resized to 3/16. Bonus : you have a 1/16 stripe to use if you want. You actually getting 2 for 1.
