My wife loves to listen to music in the shower, so I decided to make her a holder for her phone so it wouldn't slip off the tiny edge around the top of the shower and ruin her phone. It took a few attempts to accommodate her phone (iPhone 7 Plus with Otterbox Symmetry case and pop-socket) and hopefully it would also hold other sizes and models of phones as well. (Interior dimensions: 89.5mm wide, 20mm deep, 171mm tall)
The shower hook allows the phone holder to hook onto a curtain rod, but to be safe I went ahead and made attachments for frameless and framed glass showers. All of these are made to be attached onto the back of the caddy. There is an opening at the bottom of the case to make sure the sound can get out and be reflected to help increase the sound. It isn't going to make your phone sound like its hooked to a huge stereo, but it helps! And obviously, don't put your phone in the way of the water where it would damage your phone.
I leave this one in the shower all the time and it works for us! Enjoy!! (The photo with the black phone is mine. I have an iPhone 7 Plus with a RhinoShield case and it has plenty of room.)
[Install Note: If you are using the Curtain Hook attachment for the back and your phone has extra room behind it, the hook can be turned around so that when you attach it to the phone caddy from the front instead of the back and it will help take up some of the extra room behind your phone.]
