This is a Remix from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2077884 ( I did not add it to the remixes because of bugs in Thingiverse )
I created this remix due to a bug in the original script, the functionality became incoherent because when pausing at layer it paused after printing that layer and when making a pause at height it paused before the corresponding layer.
What I changed in my version :
I fix that original bug and now the pause is always before printing the specified layer
Reorganised and added small tweaks to the code and settings
Added more detailed texts and descriptions to help better understand each options. I also added some tips for octoprint users like myself when using the M0 method
Added option to disable steppers at pause, this is helpful for manual filament change using extruder knob
HOW TO INSTALL
Copy the "PausePrintChangeFilament.py" file to Cura post processing plugin scripts folder, by default found at :
C:\Program Files\Ultimaker Cura X\plugins\PostProcessingPlugin\scripts
If you have Cura already running you will need to restart it.
HOW TO USE
In Cura go to "Extensions > Post Processing > Modify G-Code"
Click on "Add a script > Pause print / Change filament
