This is a more robust version of an earlier design with my goal being a simple, easy to build machine. The X, Y, Z and Gantry clearance dimensions are all controlled by user parameters and both NEMA 23 and NEMA 34 stepper motors are supported. To keep the ballscrews tucked in as close to the frame as possible, FK/FF15 bearing blocks were used on the Y axis instead of the more common BK/BF bearings. X and Y linear rails and ball screws are 20mm with 15mm rails and 16mm ballscrew for the Z axis. Included is a separate complete Z axis assembly which utilizes 20mm rails and ballscrew and NEMA 34 stepper motor if that is preferred. As I've done with previous models, CAD files will be updated when corrections or improvements are made.

1/21/22 V19 Minor changes to some counterbore depths to reduce the need for non-standard bolt lengths. Included a sample CAM layout and wooden table. These may have been included in an earlier version, but had been removed.

1/17/22 V16 Corrected a problem reported by GrabCad contributor https://grabcad.com/bill0r.mckenzie-1 which was causing errors when the ballscrew length parameter was changed.

6/14/21 V15 Modified some parts and parameters so that extrusion lengths are non-fractional as long as non-fractional ballscrew lengths are used. Revision numbers were reset at some point since my last update.

04/14/20 V78 Fixed a reported problem with Ballscrew Length calculations which caused the modeled ballscrew to be a little longer than the defined parameter. FF15 bearings on the Y Axis were a non-standard size and have been replaced with properly sized parts. This change required dimensions for the Y End Plates to be revised.

01/31/20 V77 Fixed a problem with the parameter table that was preventing Z Ballscrew Length from updating the model. Added tapped holes to X-Plate for Ballnut mounting block.

11/17/19 V74 The most notable change in this version is with limit switches. Y limit switches were changed out with the same style used on X and Y Axis and the Z limit switch was modified to provide necessary clearance. Other minor changes were made since my last update, but honestly, I can't remember now what they all were. All renderings, drawings and CAD files were replaced to reflect V74 changes.

6/07/19 V58 - Added the Nema23/34 adapter to Z axis, replaced the box style stepper motor standoffs on Y axis with a simpler part to fabricate. Updated several pics and renderings.
