The idea is to sterilize air inlet tube for a respirator using a UVC LED in the region of 275nm against Covid virus.https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:84564 Paraboloid module from Juergen Lochner is used to focuse the UVC light in the tube.
The UVC LED is placed on the PCB carrier in the focuse of the paraboloid.
One of the possible UVC LED SMD 1313 datasheet is included.
Other parabolic design for a SMD 3535 LED is in the preparation.
Tube diameter, wall thickness etc. parameters can be adapted in the OpenSCAD files.
The models did not have been printed yet, it is just an idea presentation.
Only UV resistable filaments can be used!
March 25, 2020 SMD3535 design added.
March 30, 2020 additional ..R designs have been added with smaler space for the PCB board and tubes for leading wires to the LED.
The filament to be used looks like: https://www.3dxtech.com/fluorx-pvdf-1/ which is resistant to UVC rays.
April 2nd, 2020 the old files deleted, only the recommended ..R14 let active.
