The Palmette Noir Console takes its name from the black palmette akroterion leaves carved from ebony on the eight legs. The console is made from blond stained crotch mahogany with a Marbre Noir Saint Laurent stone top. I thought the design very elegant and original. I hope you find it so as well. Like the genuine original, this console is large; it was intended for a grand entrance hall. You can scale it if you would prefer something smaller, but be careful not to lose the proportions, as they are what make the console work so well! Additionally, I have recently rescaled the eight legs so that they are heftier and sturdier in appearance. I think this helped the model tremendously. I have also drawn a large wall mirror intended to go over the console table. You can find it in my model collection. Thank you to all for the use of the beautiful urns. #console #console_table #leaves #mahogany #palmetto #Palmetto_Noir_Console #table
