This is a shoe that enables you to use a single, 3mm diameter commercial tag seal to provide tamper-evident security. Once the seal is on, you cannot access the keyhole to pick the lock or to use a spare/fraudulently-made key. The plinth and holes in the floor are for drainage in case of use outdoors. I designed one by hand in a basic text editor and then constructed a spreadsheet to calculate the vertex values for any new padlock. Then you simply copy the x, y and z values from the spreadsheet and paste them into a text editor to produce the new object file. The seal I used was a Serpro uniquely numbered 3mm diameter tag seal.
This particular shoe is for a Wilko 40mm laminated padlock. Not perfect really, but works fine. Spreadsheet automates the creation of an object file for any new design of padlock. Upload this to Tinkercad, then downloaded STL file for emailing to print service.
Hole is for a string to tie the shoe to the lock when not in use - also stops you dropping it when you cut the seal.
