P-X (Per X) FPV RACING DRONE
This is my racing drone that I´m currently using in Swedish Drone Cup. It´s a 220mm X-frame designed for 5" props with four standard 3 or 4mm QAV280 arms.The purpose of this design is a fast and cheap (about 15 USD) racing frame.
I´ve been printing in PLA and this latest version has survived arm-breaking crashes and is still flying! TOW (Take-Off Weight) with a 3S 1300mAh battery is about 500grams.
Needed parts for a complete build (from top to bottom):
§1 - Camera mount (1 pc)
Designed for a HS1177 (12mm lens diameter) and secured with two tiewraps for easy replacement. 50 or 60 degree camera angle designs available.
§2 - TOP (1 pc)
Installed with four M3 bolts. Washers recommended. Access-holes to change channels on VTX.
§3 - Standoffs 37mm (4 pc)
With inner M3 threads in both ends.
§4 - Antenna Mount (1 pc)
Installed over the rear standoffs.
§5 - Base (1 pc)
Standard 30,5mm hole pattern for PDB and FC. Use small standoffs to be able to insert the battery strap between the Base and the PDB.
§6 - QAV280 Arms (4 pc)
Standard QAV280 arms. Se picture for measurement reference in mm.
§7 - LWR (1 pc)
Lower plate to secure the arms. Two designs available for 3 och 4mm thick arms.
§8 - M3X16mm Screw (16 pc)
Use for PDB/FC stack, Standoffs and thru LWR, arms and Base to secure the arms.
§9 - M3 self locking nut (8 pc)
Use for arm-bolts. Washers recommended.
§10 - Battery Distance
Just a distance to make sure the bolts do not damage the battery.
§11 - Battery Strap
Insert the strap underneath the PDB, to secure the battery underneath the frame.
