Provides a surface for a clamp ring light to mount to the Opti-TekScope USB "microscope".
In many cases the built-in light is inadequate and this works much, much better.
There are some cases where you will just want to use the built-in light (see pics - 3d printer hotend).
This is designed to use M1.6 threaded inserts (full disclosure - my company produces these inserts) - find them on Amazon "initeq M1.6 threaded inserts"
