This is an adapter for 3M Respirator masks, for the input bayonet masks. They work pretty well.
I'm putting this out there for anyone making filters, for hospitals or anything else.
Notes from researching this: The 3M Respirator I have, it should be noted, does not filter the output, so please also put something over it, if there's any chance at all of spreading. This should be usable in things for longer than N95 masks, because after looking at a lot of the issues, one of them is that you are both breathing in and out. So if there's a HEPA filter (I've got a design, but hasn't been evaluated) it should last a long time. 3M's P100 filters would be best for prevention, but if you can't get those, make absolutely sure there's no leakage around any filters you use.
(Just a note: My interpretation of non-commercial is this: No selling for profit. Make them for hospitals, doctors, nurses. Friends, yes, you can charge cost for filament.)
