Next up in the OpenForge "Places of Power" series, we bring you the Bells of Daybreak! Places of Power is a series I'm doing to create LARGE, central set-pieces for RPG or skirmish/war games.
The Bells of Daybreak is a huge wooden and steel structure full of bells of various sizes and shape. Nobody knows who built it, or why it's out here - but it's been standing untouchhd for ages. Nobody has heard the bells ring for millennia ... but that could be changing soon!
I started out to build a single bell in a tower and - as you can see - things got away from me a bit! This set allows you to build a single small tower or a BIG structure with multiple bells.
Both the small and large version of the tower can go vertically beyond the 2 level structure if you wish indefinitely. The parts are organized with a prefix - "SHARED", "SMALLTOWER", or "LARGETOWER" to help determine which pieces you need. You can look at the randomly colorized renders as well to see how things fit together.
This thing is MUCH easer to paint then assemble, versus assembling then painting. Please note that it's REALLY BIG. You can see the size/scale next to the Reaper minis in the pics. You should be able to safely scale it down though - my guess is to ~50% size with tolerances still working but I didn't test print it at smaller sizes).
All options and pieces print supportless, as usual. Enjoy!
