Delrin wheels for OpenBuilds stuff is expensive / hard to source.
I thought I'd have a go at making my own!
Designed roughly from the attached schematic, this takes two 625 2RS bearings, one either side, either an eccentric spacer or standard 6mm spacer and a 5mm bolt and nylock nut to complete. You will also need an OpenBuilds gantry plate to bolt the wheels to and, of course, a corresponding OpenBuilds rail!
Unfortunately, my printer is busted at the moment, but I'd love to hear if someone prints and uses this! I would advise using ABS (print slightly oversize to compensate for shrinkage as these sizes are exact!) I think PLA would be too brittle under the stresses.
