My version of a syringe driver as i didn't find one to suite my needs.
It's easy to print, small, open ended, easy to assemble and easy adjustable for other syringes or even other push'n'pull stuff.
As it has an open end the length can be adjusted with changing the size of the pipes and the threaded rod as you wish.
Initially it was built for a 28BYJ-48 stepper, but it's too slow for my project, so i made another design for the yellow gearmotors (known from arduino) for another test.
Just a few additional parts are needed and two cheap motors are supported:
28BYJ-48 stepper
Gearmotor (the cheap yellow arduino gear motor)
Parts to print:
base_gearmotor or base_steppermotor
gear_gearmotor or gear_steppermotor
base_holder_omnifix60ml
gear_rod
carriage
carriage_stamp
carriage_adapter_omnifix60ml
Additionaly needed:
1 x 16cm threaded rod M4
4 x M4x20 screw
10 x M4 nut
2 x M4 washer
2 x 624ZZ bearing
2 x 16cm Alupipe 6mm
For Gearmotor:
2 x M3x25 screw
2 x M3 washer
2 x M3 nut
For Steppermotor:
2 x M4x15 screw
2 x M4 nut
Assembly:
Threaded rod: nut==washer==gear_rod(with nut)==washer==nut==bearing==nut==base_holder==nut==bearing==nut
Push the rod into the base
Shift in the pipes
Screw the carriage_stamp onto the carriage
Insert nut into carriage
Place the carriage on the rod and pipes and screw it in a little
Put the gear onto the motor shaft
(for the gearmotor the axis on the opposite must be cut off)
Screw the motor in place
