This is a remix of the Open Alpha headpones given to the diy community by MrSpeakers Dan Clark. He designed the original as a production product. Later on he gifted the design to the community. My remix replaces the vent holes on the original with an adjustable vent. Just thread an M3 set screw into the hole on top and adjust them as desired. This is basically the same as his Alpha Prime design. I would start with M3x12 it can totally seal the vent and also leave it completely open, though a little of the screw will be sticking out the top of the cups when the vent is totally open. If you want to go totally open or close to it maybe an M3x10 or M3x8 would be a better choice. They use a Hirose connector, though there is a remix that uses a 2.5mm jack instead. The .iges file is included for editing and remixing. The baffles that go with these as well as the original cups are available here.
