This solution (expansion) is for the Prusa i3 Rework (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:119616) and is an elegant way to build a Prusa i3 with only 4 stepper motors and a rock solid filament holder that uses the shorter m5 threaded rods (2x 300mm) from the BOM (http://reprap.org/wiki/Prusa_i3_Rework_Bill_of_materials) as poles for the filament holder, replaces the second z-motor with a bearing holder plate and only replaces the upper rod holde (z-axis top left/right) to produce as less garbage as possible and increases the building height to 208mm (if you use my modified wade extruder with an Ultimaker printhead/nozzle).
For M5 threaded rods:
1x Z-Axis_mount_upper_left.stl
1x Z-Axis_mount_upper_right.stl
2x Filamentholder_mount_M5.stl
2x Filamentholder_M5.stl
2x Left_Gear_M5.stl
2x Right_Gear_M5.stl
1x Motor replacement plate right.stl
350mm M5 threaded rod (left)
360mm M5 threaded rod (middle)
2x 380mm M5 threaded rod (right)
11x m3 nut
8x m3 - 8mm grub screw
8x m5 nut
5x 625ZZ bearing
For M8 threaded rods:
1x Z-Axis_mount_upper_left.stl
1x Z-Axis_mount_upper_right.stl
2x Filamentholder_mount_M8.stl
2x Filamentholder_M8.stl
2x Left_Gear_M8.stl
2x Right_Gear_M8.stl
1x Motor replacement plate right.stl
350mm M8 threaded rod (left)
360mm M8 threaded rod (middle)
2x 380mm M8 threaded rod (right)
11x m3 nut
8x m3 - 8mm grub screw
8x m8 nut
5x 688ZZ bearing
